Supply Chain Specialist III

PURPOSE AND SCOPE: (Provide 2-3 sentences general purpose and scope for position)

The incumbent will be responsible for day to day operational activities within the Supply Chain organization. Areas of focus include responsibilities such as: asset management, swap replacement and return process, tracking and planning, scheduling and monitoring inbound equipment and materials shipments; controlling material movement throughout the entire product lifecycle, leading the coordination of inbound logistics activities from plants, tracking data and reporting metrics for ongoing projects; inventory control system transactions, cycle counting, receiving support; and track and trace/resolution activities.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:(Please review and provide 3-6 general duties and responsibilities)

• Research and resolution to time sensitive issues

• Work cross-functionally to achieve goals

• Provide input regarding potential efficiency improvement regardingSupply Chain operations

• Inventory reconciliation activities

• Support other Logistics activities, as needed

• Self-sufficient – requires minimal oversight from immediate management.

• Cross-functional communication skills

• Ability to explain processes to less senior team members.
