I originally heard about Spectra opening in Southaven through my Grandfather who oversaw the construction of the Southaven building. Through word of mouth he found out about an open position on the Spectra Accounting team, so I applied. I decided to join the FMCNA team because I was looking for an organization that valued me as an employee and offered the opportunity to challenge for me to grow both personally and in my career.

My career began working with the Spectra Accounting team. As changes within the business took place, I was given the opportunity to grow my career and move into the Financial Analyst role that I currently occupy. Since taking on this new position, I have been given opportunity after opportunity to not only grow my knowledge, but also really dig into the budgeting/forecasting side of the business. My role is vital in helping to create budgets based on prior financial information and completing forecasts that allow the company to operate at peak efficiency. The correct forecasting and budgeting allows us make decisions in both the best interest of the company and our clients.

I’ve been given the opportunity to work with some amazing colleagues that have taken me under their wings by giving me great guidance and training. My department leads have created a great environment that allows for me to continuously grow and succeed within the Finance business sector. I am truly grateful for the FMCNA team, and I look forward to many more years working alongside them."
