Chris Churchill
President

Chris Churchill assumed the role of President of NCP in May of 2022. Chris also serves as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy for Fresenius Medical Care’s services businesses, where he previously held a number of different roles including leading inpatient services, home therapies, marketing, product management and customer experience.

Chris began his career in investment banking, after which he joined Iron Mountain, an enterprise information management services company, where he led two of their highest growth business units. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.


Dr. Donald “Buck” Cross, MD

National Medical Director

Dr. Buck Cross serves as National Medical Director and is a physician partner at Waco Cardiology Associates. Dr. Cross works closely with the clinical team, operations team, and our physician partners to develop and execute the clinical vision and strategy for the organization. Additionally, he serves as the Chair of the Physicians Executive Council (PEC).

As a practicing cardiologist for more than two decades, Dr. Cross is board certified in cardiovascular disease and has practiced as an Interventional Cardiologist in Waco, Texas for the past 20 years. He is a graduate of St. Edwards University, and the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, and he holds an MBA from Dartmouth University.


Kelly Bemis
Chief Clinical Officer

Kelly Bemis serves as Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) at National Cardiovascular Partners. In that capacity, she is responsible for the overall strategy, direction, and oversight of all clinical aspects of the organization, to include facility accreditation and certification; governance and regulatory compliance; physician relations; medical research; the monitoring and reporting of comprehensive quality outcomes; and ensuring the delivery of superior, high-quality patient care.

Kelly is a registered nurse and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University. She has spent her entire career in healthcare, first in patient care, and later in a succession of high-level management and oversight roles. Kelly is a member of the Joint Commission’s Ambulatory Care Advisory Council and represents NCP as a member of the Outpatient Endovascular and Interventional Society (OEIS). Her work has been published in several leading healthcare publications and national journals.


Shon Sanders

Vice President, Operations

Shon Sanders serves as Vice President of Operations at National Cardiovascular Partners (NCP), providing strategic leadership, direction, and oversight for the clinical operations of more than twenty centers and business operations within the NCP portfolio. Shon has more than 25 years of healthcare experience, including ten years as a charge nurse in the Emergency Department, and fifteen years in cardiology.

Shon has served in various roles within the cardiac industry, as the Facility Administrator for the Waco Cardiology Cath Lab and the regional operations lead for NCP. Shon earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing, BSN from Chamberlain University.

Marc Krasuski
Vice President, Finance

Marc Krasuski joined National Cardiovascular Partners in 2020, responsible for the overarching financial strategy and fiscal stewardship for the company. Prior to that, he held various finance leadership roles in the healthcare, information services, engineering, and construction service industries. Marc is also a finance leader in the Fresenius organization, serving in Controllership and CFO divisional roles.

Prior to Fresenius, Marc was the Vice President of Finance and CFO of DecisionOne Corporation, a private equity backed, global independent technology support organization in the TPW and ISO markets. Marc earned a BS in accounting from Villanova University and an MBA from Seton Hall University.


Mike Vintges
Senior Vice President, Strategic Sourcing

Mike has over 40 years’ experience in cardiovascular operations and strategic sourcing, and has developed and led large hospital-based cardiovascular programs in California and Texas. He specializes in contract and business development, program development and implementation, vendor services, portfolio and contract management, supply price negotiations, and physician relations.

Prior to joining National Cardiovascular Partners in 2016, Mike owned a successful consulting practice, working with major cardiovascular product manufacturers and physician clients.

Mike has a master’s in health care management from La Salle University and is a proud veteran having served in the Unites States Air Force.


Dana Yates
Vice President, IT Business Partnership

In April of 2022, Dana Yates assumed the role of Vice President, IT Business Partnership for National Cardiovascular Partners. Dana also serves as the Vice President, IT Business Partnership for Azura Vascular Care and Fresenius Pharmacy at Fresenius Medical Care.

Dana joined Fresenius Medical Care with over 20 years of experience in healthcare, driving transformational change through advancements in technology and innovation to achieve strategic growth initiatives. Dana is passionate about leveraging technology to deliver optimal care and service excellence to our patients and our providers, with a history of success achieving substantial gains in global business processes and IT service delivery models.

She is a Six Sigma Black Belt and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Technology and an MBA in Healthcare Management.


Brian Hill

Vice President, Site Development

Brian has nearly 30 years of cardiac-focused healthcare experience, including eight years of hospital cardiac cath lab management. He was recruited by National Cardiovascular Partners in 2007, to manage a new partnership in Katy, TX. He has over 15 years outpatient cardiovascular experience, including seven years of operations management, followed by eight years of focus on new construction and conversion of existing office-based sites to accredited ambulatory surgery centers in multiple states.

His current role includes site identification, lease negotiation, design, construction, licensure, and operationalizing new facilities. He also provides ongoing support to existing centers for surveys and inspections, and repairs and maintenance.


Paul Toomey

Senior Vice President, Business Development

Paul Toomey serves as Senior Vice President of Business Development for National Cardiovascular Partners. Paul brings over 25 years of healthcare management experience to the organization, having developed and operated hospital-based outpatient and physician-based, free standing service lines.

Paul served as Director of Physician Services for Valley Medical Center in San Diego and has held positions in diagnostic imaging (primarily vascular imaging), wound care and hyperbaric medicine companies. During his career, Paul has been responsible for all aspects of operations and business development.

Paul is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and holds a master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.

Jamison Pearlman
Vice President, Managed Care

Jamie has an extensive healthcare background with over 20 years of managed care contracting experience, representing a variety of constituencies, including ambulatory surgery centers, hospitals, large multi-specialty independent practice associations, diagnostic imaging centers and commercial insurance companies.

Previously, Jamie served as Vice President of Managed Care for Symbion Healthcare (Surgery Partners), where he was responsible for securing payor contracts and developing same store revenue opportunities. His professional experience includes leading payor contracting initiatives and managing the credentialing process for the 750-physician member practice plan affiliated with the University of Texas Health Science Center. Additionally, he has several years of experience with the commercial insurance side of the healthcare industry in the actuarial division of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas (HCSC) where he was responsible for administering statewide capitation and coordinating care resources with fully integrated delivery networks.

Jamie earned his BS in Political Science from Southern Methodist University.


Robin Glawson
Senior Director, Human Resources

Robin Glawson serves as Senior Director of Human Resources at National Cardiovascular Partners (NCP). Robin brings over 20 years of experience within the healthcare industry. Throughout her management career, she designed and implemented strategic Human Resources solutions that have increased productivity and substantially contributed to profitability. She is a strategic leader with a proven track record in employee relations, leadership development, performance management and leading change.

Robin earned her BS in Health Care Administration with a minor in social work from Auburn University.

Jenna Shedd-Sawl
Associate General Counsel

Jenna Shedd-Sawl, Esq. is a health law attorney in the law department of Fresenius Medical Care. She has provided legal support to National Cardiovascular Partners since she joined Fresenius Medical Care in 2017.

Prior to her time with Fresenius Medical Care, Jenna worked in the health law group of a large regional law firm in Philadelphia where she represented health care providers, including hospitals and single and multi-specialty group practices, with respect to transactional and regulatory matters.

Jenna holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Minnesota Law School where she served as a Managing Editor of the Minnesota Law Review and a Bachelor of Science in Health Policy and Administration from the Pennsylvania State University, Schreyer Honors College.


Margaret Aitken
Communications

Margaret Aitken provides internal and external communication support and strategic counsel for the leadership of National Cardiovascular Partners. Prior to working with NCP, she founded a messaging strategy and public relations firm based in Wilmington, Delaware, where she specialized in guiding companies through change and transition. From 1998-2008, Margaret served as press secretary and spokesperson for then United States Senator Joseph R. Biden, Jr.

Ms. Aitken is a graduate of the University of Delaware and holds a master’s degree in Strategic Communication and Media Studies from Johns Hopkins University.
