Overview

Fresenius Medical Care nurses are on the front line of patient care, improving the quality of life of every patient, every day. That means providing dialysis care to 10-12 patients at any given time, and collaborating with our multi-disciplinary team to deliver a unique care plan to each one of them. This role is all about relationships and the bond you’ll create with patients and their families. Prior dialysis nursing experience is helpful, but many successful candidates come from a background in ICU, PCU and/or surgery.

The rate of pay for this position will depend on the successful candidate’s work location and qualifications, including relevant education, work experience, skills, and competencies.

$140-225/hr


Level Description
Professional’ Leveling Guide consists of jobs with a professional nature that require “learned knowledge” most often attained through advanced education and experience. This can include business and/or clinical professionals.

Market Summary
Provides direct and individualized nursing care to dialysis patients. Responsibilities may include priming dialyzer and bloodlines, readying dialysis equipment, overseeing the dialysis treatment from start to finish, and cleaning and dressing permanent and temporary catheters. RN or appropriate equivalent.

• Makes decisions on complex to highly complex issues regarding work approach for project components, and completion of team tasks and responsibilities.

Knowledge
• Demonstrates expert knowledge in own field, with a strong understanding of adjacent areas for the development of pragmatic and creative solutions.
• Typically requires:
- a bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience
- a master's degree and 8+ years of experience
