A Journey of Dedication
Meet Arvin, a Fresenius Medical Care clinical manager dedicated to the team he leads and the patients they care for together each day. Arvin's journey at Fresenius Medical began as a patient care technician and putting him on a career path to his current role, leading, supporting and mentoring his own team as a clinical manager.
Arvin’s career with Fresenius Medical Care began in 2009 as a patient care technician in our Camarillo, California clinic. Inspired by his grandmother, herself a dialysis patient, Arvin felt a strong calling to help kidney patients. “I always knew I wanted to add that extra loving care to patients like my grandmother,” Arvin says.
Arvin's dedication to caring for patients living with kidney disease compelled him to continue his education to become a registered nurse (RN). After gaining experience as a floor nurse and then as a charge nurse (CN), Arvin was promoted to the role of clinical manager in 2022. “The opportunity came when my manager became the director of operations (DO), and I stepped into the role,” he recalls.
A Day in the Life of a Clinical Manager
Arvin describes his typical day as both busy and rewarding. “What keeps me motivated is knowing that I’m helping both staff and patients every day,” he says. Leading a clinical team comes with its challenges, particularly staffing. But Arvin emphasizes the importance of collaboration: “We work closely with other nearby clinics and managers to make sure we can balance our staffing needs and continue providing excellent care.”
A key part of his role is ensuring his team is always up to date with the latest policies. “We have daily hurdles to keep everyone informed and ensure we’re all on the same page in delivering high-quality care,” he explains.
