Q. How are home therapy nursing roles different than other dialysis
nursing roles at Fresenius Medical Care?
A. Unlike our other dialysis nursing roles, where nurses directly administer dialysis treatment to their patients, our nurses in the Home Therapy modality provide patient education, training and support, so patients may learn how to perform safe and effective dialysis treatment themselves, at home. After an initial in-home assessment visit, Home Therapy nurses provide ongoing care and support during patient in-clinic visits.
