As a Clinic Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, you’ll manage the daily operations of our outpatient centers. Position Specific Information
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Qualify, interview and manage assigned or referred traveling healthcare professionals in the Fresenius Traveling Nurse (FTN) Division for short term assignments throughout the U.S.  Introduce benefits, process and market conditions to potential travelers. Review Traveler’s personnel files prior to placement.  Maintain contact with Travelers on a regular basis as their primary point of contact and remote clinical leader.




PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

DUTIES/ACTIVITIES

Management

Guide qualified healthcare professionals to the areas of highest need throughout the country. Performance manage and ensure Travelers are meeting their goals, supporting our patients and programs and adhering to company policies and procedures. Negotiate hourly rate, housing stipends and motivate Travelers to attain certification and licensure in specific states as needed.


Customer Service

Supports FMCNA’s mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy. Adheres to the FMCNA Compliance Program including following all regulatory and FMS policy requirements.  Works closely with Divisional and HR Leadership as a Business Partner to determine staffing and placement needs and prioritizes work and strategies accordingly.  

  • Responsible for driving the FMS culture through values and customer service standards.
  • Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers.
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication.
  • Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Utilizes understanding Dialysis clinical environment to support Travelers throughout assignments while driving them to the areas of highest priority to support our patients.
  • Assists with compliance and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Reviews and evaluates credentials, work history, education etc. of applicants to establish eligibility for position ensuring the appropriate licensure and experience requirements are met.
  • Conducts phone screens and provides detailed information on candidates to Field Leadership.
  • Verifies background information on candidates such as license, OIG/GSA, education, and criminal as assigned.
  • Conducts follow-up calls and quality improvement studies with hiring managers, new hires and active Travelers.
  • Evaluates selection and placement techniques from feedback data and identifies and implements improvements as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION


  • Associates degree in nursing or bachelor’s degree in nursing (ADN/BSN) required.
  • Masters degree in a related field preferred.


EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS


  • A minimum of one year of Dialysis experience required. 
  • Clinical/Healthcare management experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of compliance, policy and procedure.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Excellent time management, negotiation, organizational skills, computer skills, multi-task/project management skills along with strong leadership skills desired.
