Position Specific Information

This opportunity can be based in the following areas: Mid-West and the Northeast areas of the country are ideal but we will consider other geographic areas throughout the US.  You will need to be located within a hour of a major airport.

Position Summary:

The National Accounts Clinical Director will have responsibility as clinical liaison to NxStage corporate partners.The Director will be expected to assume primary responsibility for developing and implementing the clinical strategy and managing the clinical corporate relationships at named dialysis providers.


·Develop and execute strategies to enhance our Corporate Partners Training, Clinical Success, and Operational Excellence for Home Therapies.

oProvide clinical education tools to facility to “train the trainer”.

oSupport named national accounts with NxStage expertise at all levels

oInitiate quality improvement plan.

oCreate, plan and implement national and regional educational programs as necessary (basic, advanced) for physicians, nurses and patients.

·Provide support and assistance in the development of new programs (organization, quality tracking, systems, processes)

·Work collaboratively with all members of NxStage team and corporate customers to ensure growth and effective utilization of the NxStage System.

·Work collaboratively with sales director of corporate accounts, area and regional account executive to develop strategic corporate account planning and targeting; to ensure teamwork and proper allocation of nursing resources.

·Maintain clinical competency through nephrology literature, meetings, NxStage products and services and their clinical application.

·Participate in corporate calls and meetings as required.

  • Travel is required for this position.

Education & Qualifications:

·B.S. in Nursing Required

·Current RN licensure Required

·10+ years of experience in dialysis preferably in all areas (acute, chronic, PD)

·Nursing Management experience in policies and procedures

·Travel Required – up to 70% of the time
