Do you sponsor employees for visa applications or other immigration benefits?
Fresenius will employ United States citizens and Legal Permanent Residents when a sufficient number of these individuals are available. When there is an insufficient number of qualified US citizens and legal permanent residents for our available positions, Fresenius will sponsor visa applications for qualified foreign nationals.
If you want to apply at Fresenius and will require visa sponsorship, the first step is to apply for a job! If you are accepted in a position, Fresenius may then file for a visa on your behalf.
Will you pay for relocation?

Do you offer internships or co-ops?
We offer a limited number of internships and co-ops. They are posted on this site when available. Please use the search category "Intern" above to see any current openings. If the category is not listed, there are currently no openings, but please check back on a regular basis.
How do I apply?
Instructions for applying on a Desktop computer: Once you locate a position matching your qualifications and interests, click on the yellow 'apply now' button. You will be required to create an account and provide some information about yourself. Make sure to hit the 'submit' button at the end to complete the process.
Instructions for applying on a mobile device: Once you locate a position matching your qualifications and interests click on the yellow 'apply' button. Answer a few questions or import your profile from a social media account. Attach your resume if you have it available on your phone, send it in later via email or create one using the information you provided. At the end of the process you will be asked to set up an account before your application is completed.
How do I change or update my contact information or resume?
Once you've created an account you can log back in at any time to update contact information or add in new skills. Use the 'update my profile' link on the home page of our website.
Do I need to create an account to apply for a position?
Yes, you can feel free to browse anonymously, however, once you are ready to apply you will need to create an account.
Do I need a resume to apply?
When applying via a Desktop: Yes, a resume is required to complete your application. Resume parsing is available to speed up the application process.
When applying via a Mobile device: Yes, a resume is required to complete your application. You will be presented with three options at the end of the process: emailing your resume; uploading your resume from your device or cloud, or creating a resume based on the information you provided during the application process.
Do I need an email account to apply?
Yes, we communicate with our applicants using email. If you do not currently have one, free email accounts can be set up using many providers for example Google (Gmail) and Yahoo.

I have submitted my application. What happens next?
Your resume will be reviewed by a recruiter or hiring manager. Depending on the type of position and the number of resumes received this can take several weeks. If the hiring manager is interested in discussing your qualifications and experience further, someone will contact you via the email or phone number you provided on your application.
I've applied many times and never heard back. What does that mean?
Some positions receive hundreds of applications. We would love to respond to every applicant personally, however, it's just not always possible. Please continue to apply to positions that you are qualified for an interested in.
What documents should I provide besides my resume?
Some positions require additional documentation as part of the application process. Please read the entire job description and attach any additional requested documents. If nothing else is indicated, then just a resume is acceptable. A cover letter is not required, however, we welcome them if you would like to include one in your application.
Who do I contact if I have technical issues completing my application?
You can contact our help desk at 855-FMCNAHR for technical assistance. Please be aware they cannot provide information on the status of your application, only technical assistance on completing the application.
How much time will it take to complete the application?
It should take between 5 and 15 minutes to complete an application. Allowing our system to parse your existing resume and do some of the work for you will cut down the time significantly.
Do I have to apply online?
Yes. All candidates must apply online in order to be considered for a position.
After I have applied, how do I contact the recruiter or hiring manager?

How do I view a list of jobs to which I have applied or remove my job application?
Within the account you created to apply to a position you can click on the 'My Jobs' tab to see the jobs to which you have applied. From that tab you can withdraw your application entirely.
How do I know if my application was received?
Within the account you created to apply to a position you can click on the 'My Jobs' tab to see the jobs to which you have applied. We have received your application for any jobs visible in that tab.
Why have I been asked to supply additional information after applying for a job?
This means you are moving along in the process. Congratulations! Periodically through the hiring process we will need additional information from you. Please follow the directions in the email you received and reach out to your recruiter if you have specific questions.
I saw a job that might be a good fit for a friend of mine. How do I email a link?

What should I wear to the interview?

How many people will I meet with during my interview?
It depends on the job description, level and hiring manager. Typically you will meet with 2 or 3 people. Some interviews may take place on the phone and some may be in person.

How long will my interview last?
A typical interview lasts between 30 and 60 minutes.
Where will my interview be held?
Usually your interview will take place in the same location the job opening is in. If you have any questions please reach out to the recruiter or manager that coordinated the interview for you.
Do you perform drug screens?
Yes. All Fresenius employees are required to pass a drug screen prior to beginning work. All offers are contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen.
Do you perform background checks?
Yes. All Fresenius employees must also pass a background check prior to beginning work. All offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check. You will not be automatically disqualified if you have a conviction on your record; all screens are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
I failed my background test. How long do I need to wait before I can apply again?
The waiting period to re-apply after failing a background screen is 6 months.
